    Oh, yes please. The timer adds unnecessary stress and also stops you from practising the same chord again immediately once you have played it correctly. Like you, I'd also like the ability to set a chord progression to play so we can try out standard chords.

    I'd really like it if we could have an overlay of the time spent on a lesson - on all screens. Right now I have to go into my profile to see if I need to complete another exercise, or if I've gone way over my schedule. This is particularly important when in practice mode where you have no visibility. I understand that differences between mobile applications and their Windows counterparts mean that there is perhaps no one-size-fits-all solution, but certainly android will allow an overlay. I'm less sure about ios.
