This is the kind of thing that Yousician should make a user selectable option for rather than just changing the behavior as and when they choose. They don't seem to understand that people get used to the way things work, and some changes can displease a large percentage of their customers. This is all fixed with a simple configuration option.

I find that learning a new song can be frustrating because you need the song slow enough to be able to follow the more complex parts, but then it is too slow between sections and this can be boring.
Having Yousician pause until you press the correct notes would be ideal for the first few runs of learning a new long because it would essentially play at your pace.
So this is a great idea, thanks!

Many of Yousician's songs are clearly wrong, and I feel it is having a detrimental affect on how I am learning. It is obvious that many songs have not been checked for their quality.
I have raised individual errors to Yousician via their support process and they have been ignored.
If Yousician is not interested in fixing their songs, then at least they could add the ability for us to manually add corrections to the songs, whether shared with others or just for ourselves, it would really help.
