This is critical for anyone past the beginner stage. It's distracting and frustrating to play your instrument on top of another. I've been paying for a yearly Premium+ for 3 years now and it's starting to feel like a premium priced service with below market feature updates. I'm now hunting for a service that offers this feature. If Yousician adds it, they'll continue to keep my subscription.

The ability to mute the instrument instrument I'm playing from the backing track would be an enormously helpful upgrade to the experience. If I'm practicing piano or guitar, I'd prefer for that instrument did not exist in the backing track anyway. It's really distracting when I'm playing a piano on top of another piano, especially when the "backing piano" is playing a more complicated part with additional notes.

+1 for subdivision. This would greatly help practicing with slower bpm
