An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment I have the same problem with my bass. I've tried different configurations and the backing track keeps burying my playback. The lack of audio feedback makes it harder to play the tracks.

I agree with other commenters who have suggested adding the ability to mute the backing track instrument that the user is playing. For instance, on a performance, I DO NOT want to hear somebody else playing the bass part if I'm playing bass. Same if I were playing another instrument. When I'm playing in a live band there isn't somebody standing off to the side playing my bass part along with me. That kind of thing is fine for learning a song (but users should still have the ability to mute that track) but not for the performance. I don't see how this is that difficult a feature to adjust.
