Are you aware that this is a cover of Simon & Garfukel duo's song of the same name? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zLfCnGVeL4
There's a request for the original: https://yousician.uservoice.com/forums/916303-song-requests/suggestions/35732428-paul-simon-sound-of-silence

Okay things have changed a bit, so here we go: the sheet music seems to be of no priority to Ys team, since it lacks some fundamental markings that are present in tabs, thus making it impossible to follow some songs reading only pentagram. Somewhere around half of the songs are missing key signatures where there should be one. I support this idea, so go and make a bug report also about missing information on staff.

Do they use fixed do solfege anywhere outside Spain? Or do even Spaniards use it?
Solfege is NOT the European notation - the German system is widely used as well. And honestly, it's not a big leap to learn the international system. The note names are ABCDEFG, if you know the latin alphabet you can ptobably remember that. C is do, so ABCDEFG is an A minor scale. That's about it. Thank me later.

How is it forcing an all instruments subscription? Isn't it more like you get both for less. All instruments was 15, now you get that AND premium songs for the same price. How is that forcing?
Regarding Youtube, I see here what I've seen everywhere:
User uses service to do illegal things.
Illegal things get taken down form the service.
User complains that he can no more do illegal things and has to pay a small fee to be able do the same with way better quality.
Essentially, this is complaining about copyright infringement prohibition. -

I started to miss this right away when starting with piano. Sight reading is really hard on scrolling notes, especially when the scrolling is not very smooth. It's like reading without glasses all the time. This should be an option. I have nothing against learning sight reading, but currently it's not very pleasurable to do that in the desktop app. Plus, when sight reading, you're really supposed to see the page and get ready for what's coming up, dynamics, articulation etc. Couple of measures would be inappropriate for any player.

I was just about to suggest sound control for GUI based on notes or chords. Maybe adjustable to one's liking as well. Or different profiles.
And maybe one could activate and deactivate the sound control whenever one wishes, so that accidental navigation wouldn't occur. And of course this would be TOTALLY disabled during play / exercise, unless the song was paused.

Is there key signatures in piano path? The guitar path lacks key signatures all together. There's no indication of the key the piece is in, nor can it change then. You're left with your ears on this one. I would like to see the key signatures all in all, so I would know the scale I should play in, and as usual, the sharps and flats would indicate the notes that deviate from that key.

I would extend this to random phrase generator, where one could train with not only single notes, but short, or longer, passages as well. Configurable, combined with statistical analysis of players performance, this could be really handy tool for smoothing out the soft spots from your playing. In addition, it would mean eternal flow of etudes for sight reading and technique.

Yves,
On guitar, sometimes the chord gets rejected very easily, when sometimes it gets identified almost incorrectly. It's a bit inconsistent. If you know you played it well and it sounded good, feel free to feel good. It's a game after all. If you want to check yourself, I suggest recording your own playing. But yes, your ideas are great. I could use some statistics about my playing too, so I could focus on the problems. If that's what you mean. :)
I like the original much more. The folk singing polyphony and the harmonies it produces is totally lost in the Distrubed version, which sounds like a simplified version to me. I vote for the original, for the musicality of it. I want to learn music.
