  1. TABS for the songs in the missions.

Why aren't there any tabs for each song to look at? for example in the "details"-menu. It would make practicing and remembering them alot easier i think, if one could look at the song as a whole, not just as it flies across the screen. I'm on level 7 now and i don't think i remember 1 complete song from the missions..:/ - jaxxxn

  3. It would be nice to be able to calibrate the game for better timing / note & chord recognition

Not every laptop / phone process hits at the same speed. It would be nice to be able to calibrate the game to match your device's capabilities. When I play with the music, it says every note is late. I have to play faster than the music for it to recognize it as on time. Also, chord recognition and note recognition do not work perfectly even during times when I know I hit the right note(s). A better calibration feature for both guitar and piano would be awesome! Great job otherwise!

  4. Improvisation genres

Learn to improvise and play different genres.

    i. e. a couple of levels for blues improvisation, a couple of levels for rock improvisation, for funk, for jazz, etc.

I want this for ukulele but I guess it would be great for all instruments.

  7. Technical path with different technical exercises

I think, that Yousician needs to have the separate technical path with some exersises (not melodys). For example, playing different scales, sequences, arpeggios or educational musical passages. Exercise for the development of motor skills of fingers, rhythm, dynamics and other. By performing these exercises, users will be able to raise their technical level of the guitar.
Technical path will not be mandatory. Who do not want to do these exercises - may continue to play in other paths (lead and rhythm), that will not be blocked.
Now Yousician have some exercises (they are in Trainers inside all sections), but these…

  8. Include Piano sheets with Fingering

Before you can even start practicing, one needs to know how will the fingers will be moving along the piano. If we had the chance to read and practice it without rhythm, we would be able to to use a good technique. Specially if we're playing a complicated piece (both hands)

  10. Ability to change the finger color coding

In some cases the finger color coding is not optimal. It would be good to have the option to change the colors according to your playing style. This is especially useful for imported songs. It can be annoying to see the wrong colors and it takes away concentration.

You can always include the option 'reset to default'.

  11. tempo 100% with one click or tap

I would like to easy set tempo to 100% - but it is tricky when you had it on auto or 30% etc... It would be great to have opportunity to set 100% with one tap or click. Many thanks

  12. Let you choose your instrument when opening the app

Instead of having to go to settings each time you want to change instruments, let a user who is learning multiple instruments pick the instrument he wants to play when opening the app.

  13. Different Colour for Early and Late

When the notes start coming faster it's hard to tell whether your being docked for being too early or too late on a note. A simple solution would be to have the text for early and late be a different colour.

  15. Fretboard trainer

It would be nice to have a fretboard training option.
a little game that shows a certain fret on a certain string and that asks you what note it is. Or vice versa, the app asks to play a certain note on a certain string

  16. Training path to Classic pieces

I love Yousician, because it is a lot of fun to play.
However, one comment I have is that it does not teach you a specific classic piece (piano or guitar) that you can later on play (also without the app).
It would be great to have a training path to some of the classics (for example Moonlight Sonata, Bach prelude in C, etc.), with specific exercises for some of the more difficult parts.
As a result after completing an exercises you could actually perform the piece without the help of tablet/phone to show you friends and family.

  17. Change output device

I find myself changing my computer's default audio when I play so I can hear Yousician through my preferred speakers. I think it would be great if I could choose an output audio device for Yousician.

  18. Listen the song with actual Guitar tune

    Hi,

Right now Yousician allows to listen the song in practice mode but it does not give an idea like how would it play when some professional play it on guitar.

I think it would be great if you can also start including the actual guitar tune so player can understanding the difference between the way they are playing and how it would play with perfection.

    Thanks,

  19. Play chord with ear training

In guitar Tuna, I would like you to add a game that gets you to listen to a chord and then play it on the guitar to match the chord. I think this would be a powerful reinforcement for ear training excercises.
