I would like to see a scale page.
I would like to see a scale page. Scales from major and minor to diminished and augmented to Phrygian and etc.I l love this app and would like to see more theory options!

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your feedback!
You can now find Scales under the “Songs” tab. Pick up your guitar and rock on!
Should you any questions or concerns, please send us an email at support@yousician.com. Our 24/7 support team will be happy to help you!

I absolutely agree with everyone asking for scales! I have nearly reached level 8 but feel I am not progressing as well as I should because I lack the knowledge of scales, chords etc. Please do add them. I would prefer to pay more for that than the current upgrade

Hi, I too was hoping for Scales and after finding this forum was very happy to see that their absence was remedied. However, I can't seem to find any Scales under the "Songs" tab. Has the section been removed?

Are there any scales for piano?

a scales trainer is the one thing I would love to see from yousician! I practice them away from the game, but the yousician game platform would lend itself perfectly to practicing scales, plus it would completment everything your already learning by actually knowing what scale your in!

I really enjoy the app. But I had to resort to books and other material to practice the various scales. You have a great platform and it would be totally awesome if you included a segment on scales...
You could further make it a separate lesson outside of the normal lesson progression where you could, at anytime, practice scales. I'd really really like that...

Agree. At the start there is a good balance between theory on playing songs. The deeper you go in seems to be just heaps of songs. There should be endless scales to practice. Maybe teach us a scale then get us to learn a few solos using that scale.

I think this is a good idea too, but keep in mind you can add your own songs by uploading guitar pro files. I created some basic scales for myself but you can find tab files online if you don't want to make them. This would be good as part of the mission progression though--maybe it will happen when the theory/knowledge track is built out

I wish I had more votes to give to this suggestion. Honestly, I can't believe I actually paid money for this and there's nothing for practicing scales. I'd there somewhere to request a refund? I'll be happy to sign back up after scales are added.

I agree wholeheartedly, theory is just as important if you want to be able to jam: scales would make interesting challenges too!

agree - something like pick a scale and then play ascending / descending shapes and ability to loop. more advanced would be moving across positions, play in 3rds (play root, play 3rd, back up one, play that 3rd, etc), or other exercising that stretch you ability beyond just simple ascending/descending.

I totally agree... this guy in a fun band I know heard me jam after one year on Yousician/GB and wanted me to come jam with his band for fun. I asked him for a few chords from their songs and he gave me scales and I don't know what one is really. I've been holding out on googling it all waiting for the knowledge path... hope it comes soon.

I just added a suggestion that for a page/room/tab that would have scales as well as dexterity, speed, strength and other types of warmup, practice and theory all as challenges. Like time trials for scales and being able to determine key from musical excerpts etc.

The point of Yousician is to become serious about playing music, therefore, It is essential to know what key you are playing in. Musicians who don't know what key the band is in don't get invited to jam
