Rather than restarting the song, a related option I'd like to see would work like 'go for gold' under workouts.

Any song where I haven't got a perfect score (as opposed to just not getting gold stars) could come up, giving me the option to practice the song until I get it actually perfect.

Please make this happen! I would love to see a "perfect mode", too. 3 Votes for this idea!

This is a great idea and would have done 3 votes except I have already used all my votes :(, but, I hope that this happens, also, it does this in level seven on a trainer for bends:).

At some point when I have almost mastered a song and gold is consistently 1 or 2 notes away I restart the song anyway. So this would be a really handy feature.

I know it probably sounds like laziness but I often stand in the living room with my notebook on the floor hooked up to the TV which makes input via keyboard or mouse kind of awkward.

I just started playing with voice attack on the PC to try using spoken commands for keypresses to make things easier.

Just about to post something like this. Maybe have an option to choose how many notes are missed to restart the song.

This would be awesome. I hate having to restart every time I play a note incorrectly especially when I am trying to perfect it. It would save so much time.

The thing I love about Yousician is being pushed to keep correct timing. I can do the hunt note, play, hunt note, play kind of practice on my own.

So that the player would practice more correctly. This would be really great feature

I never used guitar bots but this sounds a great idea. Anything to guide us through all the notes and help with the more complex passages would be very beneficial. It would help with the frustration of keep getting a particular passage wrong.

Absolutely agree! I actually preferred the functionality of Guitar Bots and kinda wish you hadn't consolidated them together. That said, Yousician would be more learner friendly (which is the main market you're aiming for right?) with this feature.

Sometimes when learning a difficult new piece 25% tempo is just too fast.....the footprint icon in Guitarbots was very useful for the first practice of a difficult new song.

I found this feature in GuitarBots very useful as well... and am really looking forward to it being implemented in Yousician.....
it might be cool.. if when it was..., it came with tolerance settings.... so we could adjust how strict it is...

Guitar Bots has a step-by-step option (the footprints icon) in practice mode that, when activated, stops at each note/chord if you miss it until you have played it. I find this hugely beneficial, because it keeps me from just making the same mistakes over and over again- I have to fix myself. I know I can slow it down, but when it is only one or two spots you slip up on every time it is a pain to play the whole song way slowed down.
