Print Song Feature
The ability to print a song or save as a PDF for offline use has come up in the forum as a popular request.
For me this would be a fantastic feature to be able to play the parts of a song I'm struggling with.
For me, this is a feature that would be super important for Yousician! Because we currently cannot play without the application and it would be an added advantage to take out a Premium + subscription.

The ability to see the entire sing at the same time is important. I'm finding it impossible to play a song for people without staring at Yousician. Seeing all the tab/music at once is vital because it enables someone to breakdown the parts that are reapeatable and memorize. Without this feature, I'm finding myself leaving Yousician to find sheet music to learn/play and finding the ongoing use/subscription of Yousician no worth it. It's funny, because they have a model where someone can quickly learn the basics, bit then they make themselves useless past that point.

It is sad that Yousician doesn't even care enough to comment on this issue =/
Sometimes I cannot access the internet but would like to practice. It would be very helpful to be able to print the music that I’m trying to learn.

I began playing bass guitar in 2020 and Yousician was my go-to learning too. Unfortunately, as I progressed in my playing I found that the bouncing ball was actually becoming a hinderance. Having grown up playing piano, trumpet, and baritone, I find having the entire piece in front of my is much more intuitive as you learn to scan ahead as you read. I considered transcribing the better (more technically challenging or musically interesting) pieces to tabs because I was primarily playing off of tab sheet music. It became just too time consuming and so I eventually cancelled my sub. If this feature was added, I'd jump back into Yousician. Even just a version of the UI where a whole page was displayed using standard or tab notation would be great. After all, nobody plays off of anything with a bouncing ball other than as a game or beginner learning tool.
The app is great but it’s crazy difficult to learn songs given the scroll aspect. I’m constantly pausing and scrolling, pausing and scrolling, my phone inevitably falls down, pausing and scrolling, giving up and closing the app. I know printing a song takes people out of the app but it would actually bring me in more as I’d advance quicker.
Having sheet music is a great idea. I like to play hands separately to learn the fingering. I’m also having problems viewing the screen for long periods of time.

+1 to this. My wife and I would like to play some Yousician songs together, but it throws off the “listening” so the song ends early. Ability to export/print music would solve this.
This would also be a great feature for those who get nauseous from looking at the scrolling chords for too long and those who tend to have vision problems.
I think this would show great care for some of us who are disabled in some ways. :)
It is a shame that Yousician hasn’t listened to all the people who have requested the facility to print the sheet music of the songs.
I find it frustrating that I cannot look ahead on a piece of music so that I can anticipate fingering, certain ‘phrases’ coming up, etc.
Without the sheet music printed off it also means you can only practise with the app being on. It would be nice not to be tied to the computer all the time.
If you have no intention of providing this facility perhaps you could explain why it is not possible.
Other than that, I enjoy the app but I do think it is a major omission.
Thanks for reading this.
I agree completely: it would be very helpful to be able to print out the entire notes or tabs.
It’s also very frustrating that when you pause music (guitar, when showing notes and tabs together) the notes get covered up by the speed control, making it impossible to practice reading them…
Please either let us print for our own use, or alternatively fix the pause issue!
This feature would have been very helpful for my student playing any songs on the platform and performing with the music sheet on the side.

Yes I completely agree with Nathanael. Have you planed to do it in a future upgrade of your software ?
If it's not possible to print the sheet music, it should be possible to see it directly on the screen ?
Thank's for your reply.

I don't like to use screens with my kid on the room, but I want him to listen some yousicians songs, It would be great to add this feature

Please add this feature! This is a necessity for those of us actually wanting to learn the instrument :)

This would be a great feature to add. It wouldn't even need to be a printout. If you could click a tab feature in the app and it would take you to a tab page without the bouncing ball it would be great.

I'm surprised that this is not a feature already!
Some feedback from Yousician would be nice. Is it even under consideration? And agree with comments that this isn’t a ‘nice to have feature’ but an essential feature if Yousician wants to be taken seriously as a learning tool and not just a money making exercise.
Hello, I love singing with Yousician, and this app gives me a lot of fun. But I wish I could reinvest and sing in real life! Would it be possible to print the lyrics of the songs and the scores? Digital is great, but should it keep us locked up? Thank you.

I think it would be extremely beneficial to be able to print the sheet music and go through it at my own pace. I would pay extra for this feature.
