Print Song Feature
The ability to print a song or save as a PDF for offline use has come up in the forum as a popular request.
For me this would be a fantastic feature to be able to play the parts of a song I'm struggling with.

Given the number of times this has been requested could yousician at least explain why they haven't added the feature?

Why wouldn't you have this feature?

Not really a new idea.but one I have seen on several.posts but not replied.to.
When learning a new song I can see the sheet notation scroll.past but I would.like to be able.to see the whole piece so that I can plan how i want to.approach it or be able to take it and play it on a friend's piano to compare.my progress. At the moment this is not possible in uousician although it is in other learning apps.
Surely adding a pdf.download.button wouldn't be difficult and it would be a really useful feature -

Yousician needs to do this to become a more accessible product. Practicing for longer than 15 minutes with the moving screen causes vertigo symptoms for me. It’s very unfortunate because I love this app!

Why Yousician doesn’t add a feature where you can download full sheet music? Sometimes you need to study the pieces before you start

I would absolutely love this too. Yousician is amazing for alone practicing but when you learn a song and wanna practice with a band, it simply is not made for that environment and so some kind of printed way works much better imo

I too think this would be great. The ability to see a larger passage of music, without it scrolling, would be very helpful

For me, this is a feature that would be super important for Yousician! Because we currently cannot play without the application and it would be an added advantage to take out a Premium + subscription.

The ability to see the entire sing at the same time is important. I'm finding it impossible to play a song for people without staring at Yousician. Seeing all the tab/music at once is vital because it enables someone to breakdown the parts that are reapeatable and memorize. Without this feature, I'm finding myself leaving Yousician to find sheet music to learn/play and finding the ongoing use/subscription of Yousician no worth it. It's funny, because they have a model where someone can quickly learn the basics, bit then they make themselves useless past that point.

It is sad that Yousician doesn't even care enough to comment on this issue =/

Sometimes I cannot access the internet but would like to practice. It would be very helpful to be able to print the music that I’m trying to learn.

I began playing bass guitar in 2020 and Yousician was my go-to learning too. Unfortunately, as I progressed in my playing I found that the bouncing ball was actually becoming a hinderance. Having grown up playing piano, trumpet, and baritone, I find having the entire piece in front of my is much more intuitive as you learn to scan ahead as you read. I considered transcribing the better (more technically challenging or musically interesting) pieces to tabs because I was primarily playing off of tab sheet music. It became just too time consuming and so I eventually cancelled my sub. If this feature was added, I'd jump back into Yousician. Even just a version of the UI where a whole page was displayed using standard or tab notation would be great. After all, nobody plays off of anything with a bouncing ball other than as a game or beginner learning tool.

The app is great but it’s crazy difficult to learn songs given the scroll aspect. I’m constantly pausing and scrolling, pausing and scrolling, my phone inevitably falls down, pausing and scrolling, giving up and closing the app. I know printing a song takes people out of the app but it would actually bring me in more as I’d advance quicker.
