... should implement an option to change numbers into note-names.
I was just getting the hang of it with "Guitar Bots" and some additional learning.
Thanks for the suggestion and support!
The feature has been implemented in the standalone version of Yousician and will be soon released in the mobile versions too.
Should you have any questions please drop us a line to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep on jamming!

If you add note mode you will have every guitar teacher in the world recommending your app. It is only a nice toy until you add notation

please add this, one of the main reasons I liked to play on Guitar Bots was because I was being able to learn the fretboard, it's really frustating to be missing this feature on the transition and I guess this is not that hard to change guys, please give us the note names back.

Absolutely! The app is really cool, but it has the potential to revolutionize learning guitar. Potential I hope to see filled
Yes - please add note names. This is an effective (and engaging) way to learn the fretboard. Much better than the fret numbers (tab).
I would leave as it is but put the notes in the ball.

This would improve rhythm reading and motivate exploring other playing positions

Have the sheet music for what you are playing following along with the tabs. This way you can see how it looks on sheet music and start putting tabs and sheet music together and be better able to transition to reading music.
As we know that the number system is what allows musicians to be tuned together when playing with other musicians. Helping yousician play using the number system as an overlay and helping with memory games would benefit a lot. Hope this helps.

I'm waitinng for change numbers into note-names. I was wrote moth ago and nothing now...
Yes!!! Must! This would be huge for how musicians communicate, should be a pretty easy option to implement. And huge for musical communication and collaboration as this would encourage passive learning and understanding of the fretboard in music as a language instead of guitar mechanics... Please!

Allow us to turn view the song by notation.
Notation will give advanced players a different way to learn/play as well as show beginner players actual note duration and advance their skills. Tablature seems a little too "Guitar Hero" and is really good for practice. Notation would allow us to expand in many ways.
Turn the bottom half off, or fade it out if playing correctly. This is really good for memorizing songs opening up the way for advancement.
This is what actually makes you learn guitar. Once you understand the notes, you can play with sheet music as well (for those of us who have some knowledge to read music). So please add this. It brings it from the level of a game to true learning.
+1 for music staff display as part of the optional display changes
Using tab format would be nice to see too

Put the music up top or as an option. Take away the word "Perfect" Show the note when you hit it.. Let it fly off like the words do.
We don't need TMI like Rock Smith. If you see the music and the notes you will learn them sooner or later..
"Perfect" --> note name
Instead of limiting learning to Tabs, allow the user to switch between Tabs or Scores. Scores should have the option of optimal playing position (possibly written above the staff) and notes could be color-coded as their Tab counter-parts to convey the same information.
