Improve Speed Slider in Yousician's Practice Mode
As a new user, I was excited to try out the practice mode on your platform. However, I immediately noticed a frustrating issue with the speed slider. The slider moves in 1% increments, making it difficult to quickly set my intended speed.
I strongly urge you to consider changing the speed slider to 5% increments, while keeping the +/- buttons on the side of the slider at 1% increment for fine-tuning the speed. This change would greatly improve the user interface, allowing for a more streamlined and efficient practice experience. Users could quickly set their intended speed using the 5% increments, while still having the precision they need to fine-tune their practice using the +/- buttons.
As a music education platform, Yousician should prioritize user experience and make it easy for users to practice effectively. By implementing this change, you would be making a significant improvement to the platform, and I believe it would be well-received by all users.
Thank you for considering my suggestion. I look forward to seeing improvements to the platform in the future.

If you use a keyboard, hitting the arrow buttons changes tempo +/-10%

This. I'm a new user just started practicing guitar with Yousician and this is the first thing I noticed that 1% increment is just ridiculous. No regular user wants to play at 76 or 77%, for example. The slider should be 5% step and +/- button should be 1% step for fine-tuning.
As it's archived, I will see if it's reopen with a comment and if it does not, I will make a new post.

This feature request was almost 2 years ago. The tempo control slider is still really hard to use on iPad. At the very least have a setting that allows it to snap to 10% increments, that should make it much more useable. For guitar practise, I'll usually start at 60%, then move up to 80% and then finally 100%. This is really fiddly with the current full 100% range slider, and getting an exact rate takes ages.

Changing the tempo using the slide bar is horrible. Needs a plus/minus buttons for sure. I feel I have no control over tempo, If I can get it to go up or down, I just leave it because it’s too hard to change it to where I want it.

It would be cool to add a +\- 1 or 5 button to the tempo bar in practice mode, that way you hit +5 restart and go again right away!

Or, just let me type in a tempo in BPM or percentage.

+3 votes, the tempo slider is very unusable as it is. The auto option is useful but often it is nice to be able to decide for yourself when to speed up and when to give it one more go at the same speed. The key is being able to do this quickly not to interrupt practicing too much.
So having +5%, -5% buttons (perhaps in addition to the slider?) would be handy. And while at it, it would be nice to be able to use keyboard (such as + and - keys) to increase the tempo the same amount.

Interesting idea.

Messing with the slider is a bit of mess, honestly. I'd love to see just a +5%, -5%, +10% -10% sort of set up.
