Support Bluetooth headphones for audio input
Allow the use of built-in microphone of a Bluetooth headset to be used for audio input, instead of only the device microphone.

It’d be good, but latency is an issue. Plus older devices struggle to run as it is…

Using Bluetooth headset for input has some problems:
- The microphone uses a poor quality codec that is optimized for speech, so note recognition does not work well
- When microphone is active, the speech codec is used for output too, so the backing track sounds bad
- Enabling the headset microphone on mobiles limits audio routing so that the built-in mic, iRig or similar can't be used together with headphonesThe Bluetooth microphone works on Windows and Mac, so you can try the sound quality yourself.

The setup idea here is like this:
Use your instrument headphone (over-the-ear) and put your input device (iPhone, iPad etc.) small bluethoot device (e.g. AirPod) inside the over-the-ear headphone. Therefore, you can hear high quality (and as loud as you want) from your digital instrument and your input device can detect it right there without disturbing anyone around!
This setup works with wired headphone from input device very well. The idea is just remove that wire…
Thanks!
