Remove giant tempo slider in stringed instruments
The new giant tempo slider blocks too much of the screen. It blocks the notes when you are reading music notation above the staff when you are using the music notation and tabulature and music notation and finger board screens. This app taught me how to read music notation and I would like to continue to read music notation. The music notation and tabulature screen is the best screen I can read the note on the staff and the tab tells me where to play it on the neck and if it’s a hammer/ pull or slide. I would be happy if you placed it to the right side of the screen and disappear like it does on the piano screen. It is in the way and blocks too much music notation reading real estate.

I have the same problem, although ideally better options for dealing with the slider are possible. In contrast to what @Bee commented, I often use the slider mid-song while practicing. So I would like it to stay readily accessible. Just adjust the layout of the various components on the screen to match that of the 'STANDARD & FRET' notation, which doesn't seem to suffer from this issue. I am not 100% sure though, because it seems that the issue is affected by the particular screen ratio a user is using. In any case the solutions I see are:
- Change the layout, in particular decrease the vertical size of the TAB board, so more room above the staff will become available for showing the slider
- Change the vertical size of the slider so it fits above the staff
- Make the transparency of the slider configurable and/or susceptible to whether the mouse is close to it so while playing the notes can be seen through it -

As we need both hands to play the instrument, there's no need (and no way) to allow adjusting the speed while playing. The box can be collapsed when playing and expand when paused.
