Option to switch back to the old interface
The previous UI was infinitely better to navigate and the distinction between the different 'paths' was one of its best features.
I decided to invest in Yousician as I specifically wanted to do the paths separately, and no other app offered that nor the simplicity, straight-forwardness, and frankly elegance of the design.
Being able to easily focus on one skill at a time was a godsend for my ADHD brain!
I can't emphasise that enough. It was ideal. The flow diagram layout was brilliant.
Plus, it felt more ‘gamified’, which made it a lot more motivating and rewarding.
Please consider those of us that are neurodivergent! It’s hard for us to find a suitable learning medium.
Sure, I could find/pick the lessons out myself but in that case I could just go back to trying to learn using lessons on YouTube for free.
Please make some way for the old interface to also be available, even if upkeep is sacrificed, I will take it, warts and all.
I'm sure many others would too.
I just came back to the app after having lapsed for a while. I run Yousician on PC and the new interface is horrible on a large screen. I also really liked the different tracks, and having everything jumbled together is super confusing. I feel like my progress was thrown in the garbage.
I have no idea how this thing works. The older one with the skill tree was so much easier to understand.
Take it back so navigating is easier between what we are learning. I use the Ukulele one and having melody and chords running their own lines I know where I am going putting them together has me confused and in fairness, I am using less due to confusing nature. We are learning something new so keep it simple so we can see our progress easier less on our plates then. It is just the part where your progress was in two formats going down the screen left and right for melody and chords the rest is all fine. Thank you for a wonderful programme.
