Ability to check for playing errors
Hello, when I play a long piece, even in practice mode, and I go to the end, I can't find a way to go back to see and check single errors.
Even if I stop execution, I can see an overview of mistakes (red zones on the song map at the bottom) but I can't see single red notes going back on the music sheet.
The song map is so little to be not really useful.
In my opinion it would be very useful an 'Errors list' feature that allows me to go back and forth in the music sheet to check single mistakes.
This should be not very difficult to implement, because now, while playing, I can see notes changing colors on the music sheets. So what is lacking is just a way to freeze colors on music sheet to let me see it in search of mistakes.
To activate it an idea could be to click on the song map and having 'a zoom' of the corresponding area in the music sheet with evidence of mistakes.
Finally, the best would be if I can check the kind of error: if I click on a red note a popup tell me "too early", "you played B instead of C" and similar ..
The feature could be optionally activated by user even if I think it would became a standard for learners.

Disappointing to see no progress on this after so many years. This is the weakest part of Yousician for me - I'm not particularly interested in knowing how many stars I got, but I would love to be able to go back and see what I got wrong, and without that feedback it can be so hard to progress. I have to reach for the keyboard really quickly and hit the space bar between the last note and the screen changing to see anything and I don't get there quickly enough most of the time.

I am working on my rhythm and in songs that are a little fast for me, I am too occupied to see the pattern of mistakes while I am playing. Reviewing whether the 3 strum that I keep missing was too early or later would help me identify my timing errors.

I wish I could press a button or say "BACK" to rewind to the beginning of the current section and retry playing what I failed to play.

This could be super helpful!

I also want to join the choir chanting for review :) The timing info blurs away while playing, it looks cool and also keeps you focused on what to play next, but keep that information and display it while pausing and scrolling in the piano roll on the bottom of the screen. When you press the "Play" button to continue, they can blur away again :) And as suggested by others, dont err a bad timing, show it another color or with some kind of hatch pattern; maybe "<<<" for early and ">>>" for late :)

In practice mode, if I play a wrong note, it turns completely RED. Instead, if it displays an "X" mark over the note (keeping its original color intact), it helps me know which finger to be used to play that note correctly.

It is not easy to know why you did not get a note correctly. Since there can be 3 options (too early, too late, wrong note) can the app be changes so misses have different color according to the type of miss? This can also be applied while playing. Instead of writing too early/late just show it by color (or text with the corresponding color) so the reason will be clearer and learning faster.

Hi. The graphic that shows missed notes at the bottom of the screen disappears when you move on to a new song. It would be great if we called up a song in a Practice mode it was already populated with the previous playthrough graphics, so we could go straight to practicing problem bits.

At the end of a performance song I like to see how many notes where correct and an graphical picture of where the faulty notes were in the song. (same picture you see at the bottom of the screen during a performance. So I can identify the part of the song where I have made the most mistakes.

Yes. Detailed review available after each cycle. If off on timing turn notes yellow instead of green. Use scroll button to review

Evaluation is very important in every learning process, so this should really be implemented.

Dear Yousician.
Please, please, PLEASE make it possible to go back and review what you have played in perform mode. The number of times I have have played songs or sections while watching EVERYTHING turn green while playing, only to see 3 white stars turn up instead of the expected gold stars is impossible to count, and when unable to go back and review, I can't verify what I have done right or wrong, making it impossible to correct the errors and leaving me endlessly playing the same song, possibly making the same mistake over and over and over again.
Review and feedback is ESSENTIAL for learning. Scoring without feedback is pointless and useless!!
PLEASE make it possible to review!!

This feature would be extremely beneficial to me. I find it frustrating while in practice mode that I can't scroll through the song after I played it to see where my timing was early and late.

There should be an option to be able to review the song results after Perform. Once finished, you go immediately to the scoreboard and you can't review your misses.

Performance review / replay - after playing a song and made a few mistakes it would be good for the app to play back your last performance and highlight where you made a mistake. On some of the faster songs I can't focus on the screen and the fretboard so miss some of the mistakes.
