Another vote for this. It is impossible to know, while playing the song, when your hand should shift to a new position on the fret board. An indicator of an upcoming shift would be very helpful (and not just for beginners).

Yes! This would be a huge help! I find it very difficult to notice when the finger colors change to a different hand position. This should be an option that more advanced players can turn off if they do not need it.

I'm about to quit Yousician. What will save my account is, in the songs, you tell me, in advance when and where to shift positions. There's no way to mark up "sheet music" so that I can remember. Up and down strokes would be helpful too.

Definitely need hand positions.
Currently you have to infer the hand positions based on the fretted notes. A music teacher would show you the hand positions so you don't waste time trying to figure this out.

This is not the first post requesting SHEET mode. Would be great to get sheet mode for all instruments.

This would be a great option - to be able to see the piece in its entirety would be very useful and would better enable memorising the piece. Fragments, whilst good to find your way around a song, are not easy to remember.

I really like the idea a learning to read music as well as hand positions. Guitar app lacks the ability to change to view setting. The Piano app has a terrific option to change between the finger position view or sheet music view as you play. Should be easy for a programer to fix
