SKIP update or UPDATE LATER option
Updating takes a lot of time and often ruins the app on certain windows devices instead of improving it. It takes ages to get a fix (I am talking from experience). Please add a SKIP or UPDATE LATER (whatever you want to call it) button on the little window with progress of sucking the new update. I want to update YS app when I am sure that it works fine on my windows. It should be easy for devs to implement - and will help a lot

And also the update later option will give us the opportunity to update only when we have stable internet connection rather than being stuck everytime we open the app

This is super annoying to me too. When I sit down to practice I don't want to wait for 10 minutes every time for updates.

It is totally ridiculous that every time I want to use Yousician, that I have to wait for multiple minutes (sometimes 10), for your App to update.
WTF? Do you think that's a profitable business model?

This is the whole reason I got on this damn forum. Freakin updates take FOREVER.
I don't have time to sit here and wait 20-30 minutes for a damn update. when I have limited time to play and practice as it is. Fix your software! Ditch this whole "app" feel and make it real PC software that updates more smoothly.
If this keeps up, I may cancel my membership and go with guitartricks and/or ukeleletricks.

OK, I have to agree with Charles on another point - I think this application is the best teaching tool I have ever seen. Congratulations to the developers for such a great product. I do hope the update process can be modified to restart from the point of failure, and to also schedule the updates for times when it is not in use.
I too am a developer and appreciate the work that goes in to a good product. -

Charles, we too have the same problem. My wife misses a lot of evening piano practice time waiting for updates to install. She often goes to bed without getting any practice in with Yousition.
I'd like to see a scheduled update option, and to also have the update restart at the point it left off (don't start from the beginning each time). Restarting from the beginning is another waste of time. -

I would like to add that this program is fantastic and I love that it has taught me how to play the guitar that I got from Santa this year! From one developer to the many, thank you to all of the developers that have worked their butts off to ensure a solid product.

I just lost an entire session because the time I set aside was spent staring at the bar monitoring the update progress. Now back to the family...miss my guitar.
