Please re-enable to option to upload songs
I recently just started using this feature and found it very promising. I find Yousician to be a great tool to learn and practice how to play a song, so I was very excited to find I could import my GuitarPro arrangements. However, with that feature recently being deprecated, I'm very disappointed now because I have to re-think how I'm going to use Yousician.
Thank you for voting.
Unfortunately, it is not currently in the plans to re-introduce the ability for users to upload songs. We thank you for your understanding.

I've been thinking the Yousician team could add a program where you could play a song and the Yousician app would "hear" the song and make it into a song you could play on the app. So it would record the song, change the audio notes into the Yousician sheet music programs, and I would be able to "name" the song so I could search it up. This would be helpful for me playing sonds that aren't exactly famous, like Your Reality by Dan Salvato or Caged Child by Masafumi Takada.
Another thought/possibility: This mode could also listen when creating the song with a "record" feature. This could provide another way to easily create a song by simply playing it yourself and letting Yousician capture and create the notes, timing, spacing, etc. Then one can edit what was recorded for fine tuning and improvements where desired. Just an idea to simplify and improve the usability of this mode.
Add a new mode where one can create their own music/songs for their instrument, save it, and be able to practice within Yousician.
Essentially, one would be given a blank fret board (or similar) where you can add, move, remove "note bars", as well as play and hear the song you are composing. Then once saved, one can practice it just like any existing song within the app.
This would allow for more creativity and expression while also letting players create and perfect their own songs.
To prevent copyright issues (say one creates an existing song to learn), songs created in compose mode would only be unique to one's own account/device and not shareable.
Currently, I use Yousician to learn the basics (cords, methods, etc) and then create my own music by writing notes on a sheet of paper and play by reading that. If such a feature existed, 1) I could easily follow along and practice within the app, 2) make sure I'm getting it right, 3) change/update my song to better match my final vision, and 4) track and get credit for my time spent practicing within the app.
This would open up a lot of possibilities and further improve the app, learning experience, and further develop each user's musical abilities. Vote if you would be interested in such a feature! Thanks for the great program Yousician!
i mean come on, who doesn't want to create and learn these?

Love this idea, specially for practicing scales , arpeggios and self composed solos at a lower pace OR decoding a song
This could also be a feature in which our custom songs can be kept locally instead of being on yousician server in case any copyright claims are feared
Please bring it back then I will seriously think of paying the subscription

let's all quit the subscription if they don't restore this feature.

I don't even know this feature existing.
I will see if I can downgrade the version to 2.57 to restore this feature.
Import GuitarPro Files!!
I don't see why they would delete user created content so if you would kindly do so please let that be a thing again cus to be honest this app got really boring
Thank you for existing
With a song editor users could input their own favourite songs and optionally share them with other users. The number of songs would increase with an open user songs library. To contol quality user songs could be rated. Composers might practice the perfect tuning of their own songs for the life performance...

I would like to add my own music, say from Itunes, then create my own tab that I could play along with, and make it visible from my profile

If we've got an SD card with music in it or if we have music downloaded to Windows Media Player, you guys should make it so that we can choose from our own song list.
I agree, even if not for children...I'd love to take other books I own, drills/exercises/scale patterns I come up with and play them through Yousician, or even my own writing to help practice.
Upload guitar tabs to youcician
I have songs I'm creating and would like to download to perfect them when playing piano and singing. Please create a way for us to download and practice perfecting.
Bring it back, Bring it back, Bring it back!
How can we give "understanding" when we've received no explanation?
Seems like this would add a community feel, and would greatly expand the appeal of the app.
Also, I'd like to create custom content for my students.
430 yes votes, before you closed it down...
