Standalone Yousician tab player without course for creating own song library
Many people miss the user created songs with sync to backing tracks. Why not make standalone tab player with note recognition and synced backing tracks for personal use only.
A lot of intermediate players would like to create their own personal library and might not need the course of leaderboards.
The only alternative with sync of mp3 backing has no note recognition and costs $30. Would be great if Yousician released a similar cut down version for personal use. No sharing of song library or course.
I would use both Yousician and a Yousician tab player.
Thank you for voting!
We have looked into the suggestion but, at this point, will not be implementing it.
OK, I got why you are against song sharing (sorry for the late response). If you verify, Yousician had no problems with those songs, maybe because Yousician speaked with the songs' authors. So, I am not very worried about that. But there is a problem: The system could not identify which songs are licensed and which are not. So, this rule may be extended for not licensed songs, what can be bad for some users.
Goplayalong and other apps has sharing option and I don't think this was the main reason for removing song creator.
There was a lot of complaints though and no end of bugs - I personally think it was easier to remove it than fix it.
If that was the reason I suggest to mark it as a BETA feature so complaintswill not kill but may ind icate what to improve.
Voted for songcreator and import song app.
Henrique. I suggested no sharing because it was sharing that eventually led to the song creator being removed due to copyright and the introduction of licensed songs.. I don't think there is any way they would bring sharing back except maybe file sharing,
I don't agree with the no shating part. It looks like we're in Creative Commons forum. So, I have an idea where is the user who select if it want or not to share their songs.
