Make your own songs in Yousican
It would be fabulous if we can make our own songs on Yousican. If you also want a chatroom, vote 3 for me and tell others about voting for this idea!
Thank you for voting!
We have taken this suggestion into consideration but do not foresee including the option to allow the creation of songs on Yousician.
New famous songs are added to Yousician with each app update. You can learn more about the new songs added to the app via our official forum (https://app.yousician.com/phpbb3/index.php) or check our Songs page to find all songs currently available:
Keep on rocking!
Make it easy for people to learn other peoples' songs. Open up the API so people can build lessons to learn other compositions.

A great idea would be creating a feature so people can customize a blank sheet so they can just enter any chords in any order, that way people can create and practice their favorite songs without you guys needing to pay for songs
This idea was not suggesting that you upload a song.
Use Case: I want to create a song for Yousician that isn't in its database and I want to use a song from my iTunes library as the backing track.
1. Allow the user to import a track for use as a backing track. I'm assuming this is legally possible as Garage Band and other recording tools allow this (think YouTube)
2. Allow the user to create the notation for any of the instruments and specify how the song will be broken up by sections.
3. Allow the user to sync the track with the notation.
4. When the user goes to play the song, the backing track starts and the notation they created streams across the screen as expected.
5. The user can use the song in practice mode or performance mode.
6. The user can score stars and points by section as usual.
7. There is no leaderboard as the song is not shared.
I will assume that this type of song cannot be shared or added to the master database without a license or the artist's consent. However if the song is limited to only the user who created it, perhaps this is do-able?

why not add a composer in yousician so we can create our own compositions?
Yes,there are no Bollywood songs to practice I think I also stop subscribing yousician.I am already a paid user.I am only finding all English and other songs ,it would be good for me to understand my own language fast and also learn fast or else if there an option to upload the songs externally and then convert into music notes that would be enough.
I want to a hindi song. You dont have any. Why should i buy the app?
Hello. In the early versions we coud make our own music creating tabs. Why you dont put it again in the App. It was very interesting and educational. Its a sugestion. Best regarts.
Yes, it's "Way to go, Yousician!" You can't improve music teaching!
The "white tissues" are going to start.
They used to have a feature for that, they deleted it. It was my favorite part.

We did, but they removed it... And with it my only reason for using the app... Way to go, Yousician.
Indeed they had a list like that and found it also usefull. It's a shame it been removed and for what reason??
I uploaded some GuitarPro and MusicXML files to learn pieces not on the Yousician playlist. I found it useful to keep time, check my performance and scroll the music.
There may have been issues with users uploading and sharing copyrighted material, but the ability to upload music to learn was invaluable. Keeping the songs private to the individual who uploaded them would avoid the legal issues whilst restoring much appreciated functionality.
This feature was a great enticement to use Yousician over other applications.
This did exist, but it was removed.
The "upload a musicxml file" thing documented here is gone: https://yousician.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207247365-What-is-MusicXML-file-and-how-to-upload-it
sorry this already exists. :/
Allow midi and audio transfer. This will let groups of musicians gauge how accurately they are playing their songs in order to clean up playthroughs and live performance.
Some of the complaints suggest this was a feature that was removed. I'm guessing due to copyright issues if users just input big famous songs.
I love your idea, Anonymous! I voted for you. ;)
