Keyboard shortcuts! To move forward and backward, change the tempo, the notation, metronome, for everything ideally.
R for restart and P for perform/practice are appreciated. But please, more shortcuts! Left and right arrows to move forward and backward, up and down arrows for the tempo. N for notation. H for hand. F for play for me. M for metronome. S for mute song. Thanks!
Navigate with arrows in practice mode
Sspace bar use instead of mouse clicks
Quick select a section in practice mode, example - press f.ex. 3 on numpad to select the third part of the song. Press 0 to similarly clear selection.
Hi Yousicians,
Thank you for voting!
New keyboard shortcuts have recently been added to the desktop (PC/Mac) versions of Yousician.
You can find a full list of the new shortcuts available by launching Yousician and visiting the Game tab within the app’s settings.
More information is also available on our Help Center here:

There is no shortcut list on the game tab in settings 😒
Or am I missing something ? I would like shortcuts to input loop in loop out to select specific parts and loop them without using the touch screen on my IPad (very clumsy) -

I know that Space is used for Play/Pause in the tune interface, which makes it even more appropriate for the general UI, that has a button marked "Play".

I'd like to quick select a section in practice mode for practicing on pc/mac with a keyboard like this:
press f.ex. 3 on numpad to select the third part only. Then press any number below or above the selected number to select any number of adjacent parts. If only one part is selected, press that part's number to select all /clear selection. Press 0 to similarly clear selection.
Selecting parts takes some time and it's a bit of hit and miss. This way I can work on the whole song at once in practice mode without performing separate parts first more easily.

2 Years and still no keyboard shortcuts.. come on.

This was suggested in 2016 and still no support for this. Moving with mouse is so slow and inefficient

If it did the same as the green button

It would be good if the spacebar did the same as hitting the Okay/continue button. The keyboard is nearer to hand than the mouse and the spacebar is an easy target to hit then get back to the guitar...

This should be ESSENTIAL !!! SPACEBAR or ENTER to trigger "Green" YES, Continue, etc

Not only in play mode, but between screens as well. When my hands are on the guitar or uke, I don't want to position mouse to hit "Continue" and such. Make it just a single space bar hit, which is always easy and fast to reach out. -

a separate shortcut on the desktop for guitar, piano, ukulele. It is inconvenient to switch the mode in the settings.PS like "...\Yousician Launcher.exe -piano"

When passing throughout classes, let the SPACE key the GREEN BUTTON, anywhere there is one, which is the default action.
It's the easiest key to press, so lesse time out of the instrument.

Yes!!! But also midi assignable for foot controllers could be used for computers tablets and even less time off your instrument. Aaaaaaannd with the ability to do it without pausing the song would be awesome too!!!!!

couldn't agree more! Piano/laptop combination right now is extremely inconvinient without hotkeys (and yes I use laptop because of the size of the screen, it really matters for piano lessons)

In the _practice_ mode I like to see on computers
a better support for the arrow keys of the keyboard, too.My suggestion
- left arrow:
if (not on beat start) { back to beat start stepwise by each note}
else { back to previous beat}- right arrow:
if (not on beat end) { forward to next beat start step wise by each note}
else { forward to next beat}- up arrow
if (song has several sections) { back to previous section start}
else {
/* practice mode for a specific section */
back to previous beat }- down arrow
if (song has several sections) { forward to next section start}
else {
/* practice mode for a specific section */
forward to next beat }-- ctrl left arrow: speed down by one
-- ctrl right arrow: speed up by one
-- ctrl up arrow: speed up by default 5 (changable via settings)
-- ctrl down arrow: speed down by default 5 (changable via settings)Thanks for Yousician
Greetings, pet-ro -

Only as simple as pressing space or enter to accept/continue would be a major relief when you have the guitar in your lap or hanging from your neck.

It seems to be a good idea, but it only works for computer.

This small improvement would be a constant benefit for every session. It's annoying to use trackpad when you're on front of piano.

Definitely gets my vote (I regularly use it on a Mac).
Absolute minimum of back and forward (5 seconds, say) within a song, and key stroke (rather than mouse click) to continue would make everything SO much easier to use.
Up/down to change tempo would also be great.
