Is it possible to sync more than one device together so that a guitar can play on one device a piano on another device Etc and sync up so that they can all play together at the same time?

Be able to play lead and Chord at the same time with a friend (online or 2 iPad in sync or somehow on the same iPad)

also would be great if you could toggle easily between different family members on the same accounts - track progress different for each user without having to actually create separate accounts.

Yes! you could join and form many different 'bands' with other users, all practicing and playing the same songs...and then have a feature to synchronize performances together. Would be awesome.

Multiplayer - yes!!! In the simplest way it could be just one person's device is the "lead" and the other one's is the "follower", so that when the lead starts the song, the follower starts at the same time. The rest of the frills could come later, but at least this functionality should be simple enough to implement...

Yes! Yes! Yes! I’ve talked people into paying the monthly subscription so we could play together but it’s so hard to get the timing right.

Would be great if you could synchronise two devices on same network so that you and a buddy could both play along different parts of the same track together. i.e. one plays melody and ones plays chords, or bass or uke/piano etc. Just needs a means to synch the start button.

This needs to happen. I already have an iRig set up to play through so there's no issues with microphone input interference. My wife is a vocalist/pianist and my buddy and I are both guitarists. We're already toying around with making a band together but this would help us really synchronize much more easily. We already do pieces while trying to play the songs at the same time in practice mode but obviously the timing is never perfect. Being able to synchronize across all our phones would be excellent.

By using interface you wouldn't have to worry about messing up the microphones? Rocksmith also has split screen duet option and I guess it works fine?

A new feature that would enable the whole band to play the same song at the same time, each with their own tablets and instruments.

It would be great if you could play with other players online. Players could have same or different levels, and play a 2 instrument duet for example, or even take turns doing each part. Even just being able to watch and listen to a friend as they play would be a great playing incentive.

My GF and I actually simulate this by placing 2 devices besides one to another, then we search for the same son, she playing piano and me guitar, then we start the son at the same time...
I think that adding this feature will add so much fun.. would make people more addicted and wanting to share more..
Somebody mention it would mess up the microphones.. that's ok, the idea of 2 people getting together to play is usually to enjoy the experience, and not to worry too much about the feedback..PLEASE consider this feature!!!

I think that would mess up the Microphones. I would be a good idea though if were in different computers in different rooms. Like Online.

My friend and I are using yousician. She is learning bass and I am learning guitar. I'd like to be able to pair our devices in order to play the same song with her so that we can learn how to play together.

This would be a great feature.. my husband and I both use yousician for guitar at very different levels, it would be great to be able to jam together.

I would love to play guitar while my daughter plays the piano with both screens synced. Please add this feature!

This could also be done via online multiplayer. Someone plays the bass part while the other one can play the guitar part. So the frequences dont disturb each other when playing in the same room. Friends could form a party to play with each other or if one just wants to play with some random dude, make up an ingame kind of forum, where people can find each other.

What an incredible idea! We are using the educational features in our family. Having the ability to assign a particular multiplayer song for practice and then being able to perform as a duet, or more, with backing... AMAZING! There could be specific songs with all the parts for Yousician supported instruments which could then be performed together as a band independent from the app. Further, what about guitar duets where one plays lead and the other rhythm, or piano compositions for 4 hands, or voice with piano accompaniment except that the piano part would be a real player. I understand that this is incredibly complex to pull off, but it would be another huge shift in what is possible through independent learning, similar to when Yousician originally realeased.
