-I want to play with my friends and family together.
-Play against each other for a rating.

I tried this with a friend by opening the app on multiple devices and starting the songs (for different instruments) at the same time. Unfortunately it sounded terrible together, since they aren’t written with this capability in mind. It would be cool if they’d start creating versions of these songs designed to allow you to select which supported instruments to include and allow them all to be played at once.

So, you can put a search for other people to play the song. When the app finds someone, you decide on a song to play. Then you play against each other for a rating. And slowly you advance higher and higher, gaining cosmetics or something like that along the way. Essentially giving a versus mode to players and adding something like a battle pass along the way

Have multiple users, each with their own device, playing the same song (like a jam session). One could be guitar, one bass, one piano, one voice, and each playing at their own level for the song.

In person Band feature
play together live where all members in the same room can play the same song at the same time. Would work great for friend/bands and families who like to play together!!! -

You can have 2 or more players playing guitar at the same time and competing for the highest score

I would like to see people able to sync up the start. Guitar, bass etc. able to start together to play together. Bandsician

Yes please! I have 3 accounts for my family members (family account pricing being a distinct request) and we like to play together.
I would want to be able to somehow sync the 3 playbacks of the same song. This may be done all on one screen (horizontal bands for each player and/or instrument); alternatively some sort of remote synchronization so that both Yousician apps start at the same time (probably harder to implement).
Note that "pushing play at the same time" doesn't really solve the problem:
- there is always a little lag/timing to this, and even a half beat off really throws it out of whack
- you are inevitably focused on pushing play and not on the actual music at the start of the song
- not all songs start at the same place for different instruments - bass and guitar often start a bar or two apart, making alignment of synchronized starts even more confusing -

Is it possible to sync more than one device together so that a guitar can play on one device a piano on another device Etc and sync up so that they can all play together at the same time?

Be able to play lead and Chord at the same time with a friend (online or 2 iPad in sync or somehow on the same iPad)

also would be great if you could toggle easily between different family members on the same accounts - track progress different for each user without having to actually create separate accounts.

Yes! you could join and form many different 'bands' with other users, all practicing and playing the same songs...and then have a feature to synchronize performances together. Would be awesome.

there is a similar request "OPTION FOR MULTIPLAYER - TO HAVE LIKE A CONCERT/ GIG" lets combine our votes :-)

Multiplayer - yes!!! In the simplest way it could be just one person's device is the "lead" and the other one's is the "follower", so that when the lead starts the song, the follower starts at the same time. The rest of the frills could come later, but at least this functionality should be simple enough to implement...

Yes! Yes! Yes! I’ve talked people into paying the monthly subscription so we could play together but it’s so hard to get the timing right.

Would be great if you could synchronise two devices on same network so that you and a buddy could both play along different parts of the same track together. i.e. one plays melody and ones plays chords, or bass or uke/piano etc. Just needs a means to synch the start button.

This needs to happen. I already have an iRig set up to play through so there's no issues with microphone input interference. My wife is a vocalist/pianist and my buddy and I are both guitarists. We're already toying around with making a band together but this would help us really synchronize much more easily. We already do pieces while trying to play the songs at the same time in practice mode but obviously the timing is never perfect. Being able to synchronize across all our phones would be excellent.

By using interface you wouldn't have to worry about messing up the microphones? Rocksmith also has split screen duet option and I guess it works fine?

My idea is make able to create a band! With the feature you can play togeather at the same time on twoo or more devices the same song on different instruments. Lets creat a band eith yousician members. Challange your friend function. Random band option. You can find and invite yousician members to your band.
