hello i made a comment on the app that it was great, just that it is turning into spyware ive got a response to contact support about it. wel thing is like so many other apps i dont use or mark as spyware because i dont like it when apps demand acces to pics,network,camera and all that stuff

so why does the app needs acces to network enviroment after the update ?

Further update, This appears to only work for lead guitar, when it said "loop in lead" I thought that meant lead into the song or something. so its still broke for chords, and rhythm.

I have a solution to this. Turns out they have fixed it but never bothered to tell me how to stop it.

In practice mode, click the down arrow next to auto toggle, and click loop lead in. Then it will count you in instead of instantly starting at the beginning of the first note.

Still doesn't change the fact that even if you know its coming and want it that way you have to be lightning fast to react, and best I can manage is a "late" on that first note.

Really? That's the way THEY want it? What about us? Yousician give us a user configurable choice! Geez.

Today I signed up for Premium Trial. Given the apparent lack of presence of any Yousician staffer reading this two month old thread, well, I am not impressed. So far it doesn't seem like they really want feedback. I like Yousician but this lack of response makes me hesitant to commit to one year at $10 monthly.

To any Yousician staffer would you please acknowledge reading this thread and say whether the problem will be addressed?

Cyrus' suggestion is good. User configurable count in - whether just starting or when the song loops.

Not only is it frustrating to miss the first note it doesn't help one's confidence. And confidence is a very shaky thing when first starting out on guitar.

I am on the time limited trial. You want my monthly payment? Show evidence of caring about user feedback. I mean we don't see a response to this thread from a Yousician staffer. For all we know no staff have read it.

I even deleted the app frustrated as I was, but came back in hope a reinstall would fix it or to report. It is no fun like this😥

Always happens now! Why not a measure before to let the player get in place like it used to do! We're not asking for anything new, just correct the mistake in the new update!

I absolutely love Yousician and use it every day (I'm currently level 9). But this bug is very irritating because I have to take my hand away from the guitar and manually restart after every run through the practice set. It breaks my groove. It's seems to be a new bug that was introduced in the last update. I do hope Yousician fixes it soon.

Please, fix this bug.It males practising very uncomfortable. Everytime I hace to press pause and restart.

This would be very useful - the immediate start is certainly useful if you want to practice part of a rhythm progression on an endless loop, but sometimes you'd also like to repeatedly practice a section with a lead in. I'd even extend it to allow a lead-in of up to two bars (configurable).

I think better than a two beat count off (or "lead in") is make the repeat "lead in" variable according to user choice: 0 - 4 beats.

The app used to do this. It would count in as you looped back. I can tell you from experience that you can't report the bug to support. They simply refer you back to the forum. I am very disappointed in the customer service for this app......

The lack of a count in once the song has looped is a bug.
As you say, the current behaviour guarantees that the player misses the first note.
