Complete Sheet music path
I wish there would be a complete sheet music path starting from scratch and as fully developed as the tab option (guitar).
The problem with the sheet music option that you have now is that it's based off tab so in the first lesson I'm already playing sharps and flats which is extremely difficult for beginners.
This would extremely helpful and I believe would take your app to a whole new level.
Thank You! Hope to hear from you soon!!!

For example, it would be helpful if there was a video and maybe some exercises that teaches someone how to interpret the beats per minute section that is usually, or perhaps always, at the top of sheet music.
In addition, it would be useful to learn all musical notation such as crescendos and decrescendos, pauses etc.

There needs to be more standard notation lessons or a bigger section that includes more lessons specifically designed for building up standard notation skills, like video tutorials and lessons that practice memory and application of standard notation skills.

I would love sheet music so that I can play the music I have been learning. Is there any way of going backwards on the app to replay pieces?

I am just getting started with the app and still in early stages but I want to be learning the traditional notation to be able to read sheet music. At the moment I can switch between notations but don't know how to read the traditional notation.

That is the only thing that I need and was disappointed that there weren't individual complete lessons for this. Especially because I pay for it and use it like 5 days a week. In fact, it's the only reason it took me so long to decide whether this app was worth the $

I completely agree! I would love love love sheet music for all the songs I've been learning. It would expand my skills greatly to be able to play from that as well as from the way Yousician has it set up right now. Hopefully we can see full sheet music in the near future!

Okay things have changed a bit, so here we go: the sheet music seems to be of no priority to Ys team, since it lacks some fundamental markings that are present in tabs, thus making it impossible to follow some songs reading only pentagram. Somewhere around half of the songs are missing key signatures where there should be one. I support this idea, so go and make a bug report also about missing information on staff.

Music theory is the language of musical construction. A musician, someone who understands the language of music or music theory will know the name of notes and chords they are playing. When trying to read a piece of sheet music, important signs and symbols provide us with all the information necessary to understand the musical path of the composition. You may also think about the music lessons (plus.google.com/102642981778688407461) by some professionals. There you will have no difficulties.

I would also like to add, that the standard notation isnt complete,
it doesnt include legato information now.
also it doesnt set a key signature. these things should be fixed first. -

Hey James! I checked out the learn standard notation section. But like I said it needs to be fully developed with a lot more exercises. It's a good start but it isn't up there. Thank you!

Hi, have you checked out the 'Learn Standard Notation' collection in the Workouts tab? There are videos and exercises that teach standard notation from scratch, and use only natural notes (no sharps or flats).
