Add Option to Disable Note Colors FOR EVERY INSTRUMENT
Here - https://yousician.uservoice.com/forums/296820-welcome-to-yousician-feedback-forum/suggestions/11028657-add-option-to-disable-note-colors-add-this-as-a-c many people voted, and nowhere in the ask it has been specified that it's for Piano only. However Yousician rolled this out only for Piano and marked as completed.
Let's be fair and make the same option available for other instruments. Thank you!

Hi and thanks for voting.

I hope that in future revisions, an option can be added so that I can turn off the color display of chords。Because the general TAB score only writes chord names, and there is no color distinction

Dear Yousician,
Can I change the note colours? We have coloured vinyl note stickers on the middle two octaves of keys to help our children learn, but they do not match the colours in the piano app.
It would be helpful & encouraging during this long time at home...
Sincerely,
CA

We need an option to turn color off for guitar, the colors distract a great deal, i plsy much better with black and white tab, easier.

When I try to play songs that are created by users, the colors are only confusing.me. I think in these songs the colors are not chosen in a logical order. I cannot play the songs with the fingers shown. But since I am so used to obey the colors from the exercises, it is really puzzling me.
It would be a great help there to choose the finger on your own, without any suggestions from yousician.

This is exactly what I need for guitar. When I get burnt out on both paths learning new stuff, I sometimes want to keep playing. I'd like to use that time to go back to easier songs and start memorizing the fret board. I tried turning my monitor to black and white, but would still just naturally see the fingerings based on the shading.

The colours for each finger as they stand do not make sense to my brain and I find it is holding me back.
Personally I would feel more comfortable if the finger colours were : yellow, orange, red, purple in that order.
Users should be able to customise their own finger colours.

I am getting very frustrated while learning Bass because the note colors no not always represent the correct fingering. For example, there is a song that has a red note(pinky) on the 1st fret of the G string. When would a bass player ever use a pinky on the 1st fret of any string on a 4-string bass. As I progress, more and more often I see erroneous note colors that just don't make any sense. If its not perfect, than there should definitely be a setting to completely disable the fingering colors. It becomes very distracting and discouraging because it makes us screw up over and over and I feel like breaking my computer. I am not even tempted to purchase a subscription until this is resolved.

I completely agree with that. I switched to note names (and hopefully someday we'll be able to switch to standard notation for all instruments), and the colors are distracting me big time.
In a way, it helps when I'm lost, but most of the time, I can't concentrate on the note names and end up playing automatically by recognizing the color. That is not the most helpful thing when trying to properly learn the fretboard.
