I'd also like to see a 5 String mode, even if most of the songs don't ever use the lowest string; just have it there on the screen. Even cooler would be if the bass songs requiring Drop D had a "Hell no, I've got a 5 String!" button.

I like the idea of your product. I would totally go premium, if a 5 string bass option was available.

at least give graphic representation of 5 stringer. I practice yousician with 5 string bass and I have to remember I have over more string. it's annoying. especially if I want to go practice guitar where strings are ok.

Due to the fact that the first suggestion dates back 2 years, I may need to reconsider using Yousician. I too have a 5 string bass, and was disappointed to see 4 string tuning and lessons, and even more disappointed to see this hasn't been resolved by now.

I just subscribed under a free trial. Not sure if I'll keep going if I'm forced to only play 4 strings on my 5 string bass.

Other than this, it's a cool service!

Please add the option for a 5-string bass. I'd gladly pay for a subscription to use this feature.

Since you have the code for 4 string and 6 string (guitar) it should not bee too hard to do. I own a 4 and 5 string bass and Fender Strat. I would even bee willing to donate time to the project if possible..

Like Gio, I started learning with a 5 string and I’d like to learn how to play it properly using all strings. Kind of hard to figure out on my own when I’m new to this.

You may already know this but the hard way around it is to just convert the songs yourself in your free/play time.

You have a wonderful app and I hve been enjoying practicing with it on the bass - I have a question that I have been unable to find an answer to - is there a way for me to change the "bass tabs" that appear during the songs from a 4-string bass tabs to a 5-string or 6-string?

I'm currently playing on a 6 string - the Ability to read the tabs that are for a 5 or string would be much much appreciated. The 4 string bass are easy to read, just a little confusing cause I'm playing on a six string. Thanks again

Like all the rest of you, I agree completely. A work around that I found on rocksmith is to use a "cusom" tuned tab that goes B - E - A - D. You are still missing a string, but I use my low string more often than my high string, so it kind of helps.....

Even if you just add a 5th silent string to the tabs, that would be helpful. For a played string, I suggest standard off-the-shelf tuning of B-E-A-D-G
