Multiple logins for tracking family members progress.
I have the premium subscription and I use the guitar training and my daughter will use the piano training. My son would also like to use the the piano session but then the progress tracking is not all tied to the same user account. I would like to see a feature similar to the apple family account, where family members have the ability to have their own login under the premium account and their progress is tracked individually.

well this is a bit disappointing..
I just paid for a year of family premium subscription, to find out that it's actually a bundle of 4 individual accounts. Not a family account at all.
As others have mentioned, this doesn't seem like some mind-blowingly complex coding challenge, but more of a decision on the business-side of the shop.
As a constructive suggestion to the yousician team: netflix-type profiles (with nice little icons) and parallel progress-tracking is really what families are after. Either that or perhaps consider changing the title of the service, as it's not really a family membership at all.

Extremely unclear how to add children to the premium account so they can log-in under their own username.... The kids do not have email addresses. No idea how to find/ access the ________@privaterelay.com that was autofilled.
They can see that profiles exist but cannot access them!
They have been progressing at different levels and its frustrating when their results are all under my profile when we paid for the premium membership! -

c'mon! you have millions of users, possibly a tiny minority will be using the app at the same time in the same home. Just let this happen already. Thanks.

Please allow for multiple accounts for a single user. It really is a huge disadvantage to your company to not allow families to share an account while still taking advantage of the badges and progress individually.

Sounds like a slam dunk to me, to have family subscription. I lieu of that offer two (or more) single subscriptions with "family discount". That way my kids can each have their own track and I can have a separate track.

All three of my children play instruments. We are on the 7- day trial and they LOVE it! However, the only downfall is keeping track of their individual scores and receiving certificates with their proper names on them and such. It would be nice for them to each have a different profile they can use to log in!!! That would ROCK!!! No pun intended;)

I have two kids - one wants to play guitar, the other one wants to play piano. I myself play bass.
They don't think it's especially cool that dads boring old face is stuck to their profiles, and I can't say that it's worth a 3x price increase to get them their own profiles.
I mean, this doesn't even need to be solved in the software, a discount on subsequent subscriptions paid through same account would be perfect. E.g. Spotify does it this way, and I'd imagine they have the same challenges with song licensing that Yousician does.

Hi, I have the premium account and I was wondering if I could share it with my girlfriend as we live together. I know other apps where that is possible.

Our Simply Piano subscription just ended and since my daughter wanted to switch from piano to guitar I decided to check out Yousician. We really liked it and planned on staying after the trial but no separate users will have us go back to Simply Guitar. This needs to be changed if you’d want our business.
Edit: I just noticed that this request goes back to 2015 so obviously this must be a business decision. I can assure you that there’s no way that we’re paying for two premium accounts for two kids. Perhaps we’re not your targets group, but you’re losing us because of this.

Started on a monthly subscription to see what was included. Younger kid loves the app and the older now wants to join in. But since I can’t have 2 users (or three if I wanted to try) I’m going to cancel the subscription and move them to another app. Never thought I’d see this in a product that’s heavily advertised that it doesn’t have this simple feature. Makes it even stranger since it seems has been requested for long time.

I’m not sure why this is such a difficult thing to make happen. You don’t even to alter the app just increase the price of a premium subscription (call it the family plan) and just give them a promo code for a subscription good for x number of family members with the ability to purchase additional subscriptions. I’d be curious how many family members or non family members are just using the same subscription and how much money you are losing/making by not having a family subscription. I’m sure y’all are smart enough to have looked into that which is why you haven’t added it. My fam and I are currently trialling SimplyPiano probably will end up there if y’all don’t sort this out.

Would love to see the option for a family account! With 4 kiddos, having 4 accounts is too much

Trying out the premium subscription today. App looks great! But, no separate profiles for the family to use ...?! Come on. Need to sort this out or I'll just go to SimplyPiano/Guitar.

Get with the times we pay good money for your app.. It’s ridiculous you can’t have a husband and wife using this app. Most apps today let you sign in with different people to go at different progress.. your either money hungry, or just behind the times.. thx

Hi, my 6-year old daughter wants to learn guitar, preferred option is due to Covid-19 via yousician. I want to accompany her, also learning guitar.
I wand to strongly support the below requests, that yousician offers a family account with separate learner profiles. -

Amazed this is not supported yet.

I actually started with simply piano app and I liked a lot. Yousician is more child friendly so I chose to subscribe to a premium account. But to my surprise I was not able to set up multiple profiles. Me and my daughter are learning together to keep motivation up. Even though It's more fun to use yousician app I will be canceling my subscription and moving to simply piano, just because of possibility of multiple profiles. For those comparing this to a real teacher - this is not.
