Yousician for banjo
This is a great app and i know there's a lot of suggestions for additional instruments but I'd just like to suggest developing a banjo app. Finding instruction in person (at least where i live) or in a decent app is near impossible. Considering the effectiveness and appeal of the guitar version you'd have the market cornered on quality banjo instruction and i'm guessing it wouldn't be too difficult to modify the guitar interface to work with it.

I'd love to see the Banjo be added to the list of instruments for Yousician. I've been trying to learn how to play the old fashioned way and find it a little hard, I think this app could make it a whole lot simpler and even funner as well. Please consider it 😁

I recently got a five string banjo, and it would be absolutely brilliant if it was added on the app

I was thinking how great it would be if more instruments were added to the app, because this has got me so far on guitar in only a year, and it would be great to learn banjo with this as well.

I will buy a subscription once banjo has been added.

^ I second this. Almost signed up for an annual subscription via the app to help me further my banjo skills until I realized it only teaches guitar. I do appreciate, and regularly use, the banjo tuner, so thanks for that. Would love to see banjo lessons included with your subscriptions though 😕

I would gladly purchase a subscription if you added the 5 string banjo. Without it, the app is useless to me. Can you please leave a comment for everyone on here about whether or not you're working on adding it or if we are just wasting our energy asking for it? I'm sure it would be much appreciated by all. It seems people have been asking for it since 2015 and you haven't replied to anyone. What gives? Not to throw stones, but that seems like poor customer service to just ignore people willing to pay for your product.
I'm sure there are many more people interested in adding the 5 string banjo, but they just haven't taken the time to say anything. 335 votes is a good amount of people to move forward with adding it in my opinion, but I don't know what the overhead costs would be to do it. Please let us know! -

Could you please do your techniques for banjo instruction. Get Noem Pikelny to do it with you. It would be much easier to see where to put fingers and when with your techniques.

I second this. I use Youscian for guitar, bass, ukelele, and voice lessons. I just picked up my first banjo and this would be a Godsend.

I'm guessing as this thread has been going since 2016 it's falling on deaf ears but from the comments I guess it would be a winner and a money spinner

Putting another vote in for the 5 string banjo over here. I'd continue my premium membership in a heartbeat if support for it were added.

I think that it is imperative to if to add the banjo as an instrument to the app. I was once a member of this service service, and and grew exponentially with my guitar skills. At the same time my banjo began to collect dust. I love my Jolene Fender, the name of my banjo, And I love the yousician service . Please help me merge these two loves so that I can grow with my banjo in the same way that I did with my guitar. I am happy to become a paying member of this service again once the banjo is added.
