Make guitar tuning faster
I’ve been playing for a few weeks now and every time I want to tune the guitar it’s an extremely slow process. I understand that for beginners it’s necessary to hear the instruction’s voice but I don’t need to hear “now tune string number 6, now tune string number 5…..” every time.
Especially, I really don’t need to hear “now tune string number 3, remember to trace your finger along the cord to make sure….” every single time I do the tuning before the warm up. It just takes forever.1 voteHi,
Thanks for voting. You can access the instrument tuner from the song pause menu, as well as the shortcut in the main gameplay screen https://support.yousician.com/hc/en-us/articles/201558312-How-to-navigate-in-Yousician.

"Mini paths" or courses for speed, scales, CAGED, chords etc.
It would be nice to have short paths for developing speed, scales, CAGED, chord progressions and changes where you can "always" come back and continue where you left off like the original learning path.

You can find trainers in the app under Learn -> Workout tab.

Separate practice sessions for each hand on Piano
In the practice mode of songs, notes/chords for both hands are displayed simultaneously. Instead, there may be an option to choose only one hand first and practice thoroughly. Then practice the notes of the other hand followed by both hands.

You can select which hand to practice with in practice mode https://support.yousician.com/hc/en-us/articles/204796991-Practice-vs-Play-mode-in-piano.

Lesson Reminder Time
Currently reminders fire off at 8 am in the morning. I truly believe that this might be the most hectic time of the day for majority of people - wake up, make up, kids, breakfast, commute...
The perfect scenario would be to at least select morning/evening for notifications, but maybe the most hackish way and fastest too, to fire off notification after last lesson time 24h/48h after?
Anyhow - 8am notification that: "Hey, it is go time!" bugs me a bit :)
6 votesHi,
Thank you for voting!
You can choose your prefered time to get a reminder by going to Yousician’s settings and, under the Privacy tab, scroll down to Lesson reminders and click “Edit time”.
Here you can choose both the days of the week and the exact time at which you wish to get the practice reminder notification.
We hope this helps. Keep on rocking!

Option to have a short timer before playing the song.
Sometimes you have to stop between songs and when you continue, it plays way too fast before I can get my hands on my instrument.
2 votesHi,
Thank you for voting!
A feature is enabled to add a count-in before the song loops. You can enable it by clicking the “loop lead-in” option while in Practice Mode. Here’s more information about it:

Use Android Midi or offer option to avoid lag.
Currently Yousician is nearly unusable on android. I tried a cheap tablet like A7 or even the best tablet on the market the S7. It is very laggy and its not possible to play in time.
In simply piano its the same except you change the option to use android midi for note detection.
On every iPad there is no problem even on the cheap ones1 voteHi,
Thank you for voting.
You can currently use Midi on Android by connecting a Midi keyboard to your device. Here’s more information about that:

Option to only learn chords
Can you add a setting to only learn chords (or only melody, I guess). I'm trying to follow the lessons but I don't want to play lead guitar, just chords.
2 votesHi,
With the latest syllabus changes, all lessons are now unlocked and can be played independently. An exercise no longer needs to be completed to unlock the next one.
This means that you can ignore all lead lessons (though we do still think you’d end up liking them!) and focus exclusively on chords.
Here’s more information about the changes:

Hear voice when singing
In Yousician for singing, I would like to be able to hear myself singing in the headphones.
Currently it is only playing the song in the headphones. I have to put the headphones on a single ear to be able to have feedback of how I sound.
This option would be great. Thanks.1 voteHi,
Thank you for voting.
When using headphones, you should already be able to hear yourself sing through the headphones. If this isn’t the case or you are having issues with this feature, please reach out to our support so they can assist you further:

Interface compatibility option
Hi, where I lived I am constantly having problems with my iPad’s microphone because of the sound interferences and because I can’t make too much noice. So, I bough an iRig interface to connect the guitar directly to the iPad. However, the app doesn’t support feedback audio. Therefore, when I use headphones with the interface, I can only hear the music of the app and not the guitar. I think this could be solved by allowing an option in the audio section for sound feedback or audio output. I believe that many people that lives in apartments will greatly benefit…

A feature to hear yourself play is currently available in-app. You can access the Mixer to choose out of a few amps and hear yourself play. Here’s more information:

Practice Mode Section Looping
In order to practice difficult sections over and over, I either need to play the whole song over and over or stop playing and manipulate the device to restart the difficult passage.
I'd love to be able to simply set two markers. One is the start point and the other is the restart point.
Preferably with the option to re-count in.
This way, I can drill the part of the song I'm having difficultly with without taking my hands off the guitar (in my case.)
I think this feature would be useful regardless of instrument though.

Please make separate subscriptions for every instrument as well as combine subscription for those who want all instruments.
I just want to learn Guitar and I'm a student too. But the subscription is really very high cost. Students like me who want to learn only single instrument cannot afford it. Please take some innitial steps.

Skill Test Guitar Chords BEFORE Song
Please, please, please x1000 make the guitar chord trainers -the ones under the skill tests where you have to play chords in a random order on a time limit - available BEFORE you have to play some crazy song to unlock it.
Let me explain why this would be an extremely good idea by explaining the situation I am currently in.
So I just unlocked rhythm level 6 (the one where you now have to learn Fancy Chords and Big Riffing), and I am simply overwhelmed by all the new chords I have to memorize to play the new songs…
