Give us option to play new challenges in test mode first
Hi, I find that I need a few times in test mode before I can do the challenge mode. Can you give us the option to test mode at 50%, then 75% and then challenge mode? That way I have a chance to try before I actually try to challenge?
3 votesHi!
Thanks for the suggestion and your support!
You can play or listen to a song in the practicce mode:

Hope this helps!
Have a nice weekend! :-)

Relearning in missions?
It would be helpful when the user tries to click on a locked mission, if it asks the user if they have learned about a skill, they can say either yes or no.
When the user clicks yes, it unlocks that mission, if no, Yousician says, "Practice earlier exercises first."
1 voteHi!
You can take Skill tests to unlock missions and skip beginners’ content.
The skill tests are randomly generated so that you wouldn’t be able to learn them by heart. But our aim is that you should be able to finish the test if you can play the previous missions.

Set up an exercise to check a guitars intonation.
Your tuner is excellent for open strings. I was having problems hitting particular notes, turns out my low E needed to be notched on the nut. would have been nice to figure this out more directly.

Thanks for the suggestion and your support!
We have recently introduced chord trainers where you can check if the app can recognize the chords and certain song parts played (please check the Rhythm path missions).

Warm Up Routine
Supply a warm up routine each day user logs in. Finding myself getting mad at the game and myself getting stuff wrong that I got right the previous day. 20 mins of playing and I'm back to full speed.
27 votesHi Yousicians,
Thank you for voting.
When doing a Guided Lesson (available via the “Home” screen), you will be given a couple of songs you are comfortable with to get you warmed up to tackle new challenges. More information about the Guided Lesson is available on our Help Center:

Improve chord reconigition
Yousician is very inconsistent about recognizing some chords - in particular Em and E. The Guitar Tuna app, which I think is affiliated with Yousician, is much better about this.

Make a version for ukulele
Just getting started on ukulele. I play guitar ok and am having fun playing around on my guitar on the app, but I think I could gain a lot of training if this was on uke as this is a new venture for me.

Use This Technology For More Instruments
I think it would be great to learn to read music and play the piano. I was able to play the levels and efficently learn guitar in four weeks! Pretty amazing and now I really wish this platform existed for more instruments, specifically the piano.

I would like to use a cable ou interface (irig hd, for exemple) with the yousician.
Using a cable or interface will keep a better connection with the app and give a better feedback to the student.
5 votesHi!
Thanks for the suggestion!
You actually can use an adapter like iRig, Stealthplug or the Realtone cable (used in Rocksmith) with Yousician! These can help the game to recognize the sound, particularly when using an electric guitar.
Please read more on supported audio interfaces here:

23 hours between sessions
That way I can play at the same time everyday instead of it getting later and later every time I play.
22 votesHello!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! We have received plenty of awesome ideas from our users!
Upon multiple requests we have decided to change the time between sessions for the free Yousician accounts to 12 hours!
Therefore from now on you basically can practice twice as often! :-)
The feature is already available to all our users, you may need to update the app to the latest version (iOS users will definitely need to do that to get the new timing enabled).
Please remember that once the lesson time is over you still can keep playing, but will not get any feedback.
Thanks again for your support and keep jamming!
Cheers,
Andrew
