  1. Options in setting for use of accoustic or electric guitars. So far I've made it to level 4 with the acoustic guitar.

    This should allow the mic to accurately reconize the different tones and adjust for skill level.
    I'm sure electric guitar will be much easier to level up.
    I'm using a Takamine acoustic/electric not plugged in with headphones. My Volume is at 80% on the iPad Air 2
    Note : sometimes it doesn't pickup my notes unles I'm perfect and loud. It's a great workout. I'm sure when I start having problems completing missions that I will switch the the Les Paul on the Marshall.

  2. Find older challenges easier

    It would be good, if I could find older challenges easier. Now I have to search "Yousicians" and see through a lot of songs to these songs. There could be a folder, like in GuitarBots.

  3. Premium songs

    I guess it is time to upgrade yousician and add premium licensed famous songs. I would definitely pay extra for professionally done tabs (with all the right chords and color coding) and the original song as background music, preferably with the option to mute the original guitar.
    You could charge less for members and once bought we would own the song forever.
    Another really fun and motivating option is to show after each level, which famous songs we should be able to play.
    (For custom songs it is often frustrating that the color coding or chord names are not correct…

    We are happy to announce the inclusion of famous songs in Yousician. These songs can be accessed by users with a Premium+ subscription, which includes unlimited lesson time for all instruments and access to famous songs.

    Note: Famous songs are being gradually rolled out and are not yet available for all users worldwide.

  4. ability to lower volume or mute "coaching voice"

    the "Well done, you can continue to the next exercise' ... or "almost perfect, next time you'll nail it" ... or whatever is said at the end of the song.. becomes repetitive and annoying pretty quick.. it is also often louder than the music we're practicing.. please give us options to turn it off.. or at least down....

  5. Prevent the "Option Wheel" from hiding the notes while paused

    When you hit pause the "Option Wheel" presents itself for you to select tuning, practice mode, etc... Well this also covers up a significant portion of the music score and the notes on it. Sometimes I need to pause and look at the notes while they are static in order to practice or memorize them. Having them hidden by the wheel doesn't help this.

    I think you can do something to fix this. Maybe make the wheel smaller or maybe a different shape altogether so that you can see all the notes. Also don't cover the chord shapes while in…

  6. Add Tuner Option to the Settings Page

    I would like to be able to ensure the rig is connected and working properly prior to playing in a lesson. Could you put an option to go the tuner from the settings page? It gets aggravating to have to start a lesson or song then go to the tuner.

  7. Show what we played wrong like you did in Guitar Bots

    In GB when you hit a wrong string, or the note was played wrong it would show you what was wrong so you knew it was wrong. Now I think I am doing it right and it says wrong and I have no idea why until I look at my hands and see oops I'm on the wrong fret, in the mean time I missed the next note in the song.

  8. Personal training plan with warm-ups and specific excercises

    As the title suggest, I'd like to be able to put together a personal training plan with, for example,

    • 10 Minute warm-ups
    • 10 minutes scales
    • 10 minutes chords
    • 10 minutes song practice

    So first there would have to be warm-up routines implemented, of course. Please?

    I guess that would really help us establish an effective practising routine.

    Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. Yousician now includes a guided lesson feature that will help you create a practice plan by showing you songs and guiding you through the learning process. Just choose the lesson duration (10, 20 or 30 minutes and get started).

  9. Chromecast Support

    Show on PC monitor, chromecast etc. Because If i put the phone next guitarra i have neck pain for the position, if put it next eyes the phone doesnt listen the stings very well. Thanks.

  10. Correct the color for slides (and some hammer ons and pull offs)

    The color of the notes in the slide section is often wrong. Since a slide should be done with one finger, the color of the note before the slide should be the same as the color of the note after the slide. This is mostly not the case, indicating that the color coding is incorrect.
    A few hammer ons and pull offs have the same problem. The notes before and after the hammer on or pull off should have different colors, since they are played with different fingers. This is sometimes not the case.
    Please fix these wrong color codings…

    We are glad to announce an improved finger color algorithm that, besides other corrections, prevents slides from being incorrectly shown.

    This is now available on the desktop (PC/Mac) version of the app and will be implemented on Android and iOS on the next mobile update.

  11. GuitarBots library of songs be addded to Yousician

    Seeing as we're not going to get to play GuitarBots any more.. it's seems only fair that the complete library of songs we were working on go with us... All of the songs, of the advanced, expert, and weekly challenges, sections.. that aren't already added.. Should be added to Yousician,.

  12. Time played, chords, and notes played counters

    just watching these numbers grow, can be a motivation in itself...... . it's bad enough that we have to start over... starting over without counting this time... is a real let down to me.... I want.. time played, chords and notes played counters, in Yousician....

  13. The results page show at least the top 20 high-scorers

    it's great to be visible.. to have a top 5 spot... but, I really liked being able to see who was just outside that winners circle, when we had top 20 post in the GuitarBots forum.... and it really gave people who are just getting started with the guitar (like my kids) a bigger target to aim at... that they could hit sometimes.... I think modifying the results page would accomplish the same thing... as it is.. the leaderboard tab at the end of a song.. shows the same thing as the results... we should be able to scroll down…

  15. need help

    Program not working properly keeps me putting out after song begins in practice mode . In lesson mode I get about four min, then says I'm thru. I no this parts free but how do I know it won't do same with premium

  17. More advanced content in the mission path

    I would like to see way more advanced missions (level 5 and upwards), both for lead, rhythm and the future knowledge path.

    This way Yousicians is not only a learning tool for beginners, but a program you stick with for the rest of your guitar career, independent how good you are.

  18. Bends

    I would love to see bends in the game.
    That would be a major improvement, as it is (as far as I know) the only technique missing and finally it would be able to upload guitar pro files, without them being simplified.

    What would be great is to have feedback on the bends. Did I bend to much, or not enough (pitch). To early or to late (timing).
    You could use a sine-like graph (pitch against time) above the tab were the desired bend is shown. In this graph you also plot the pitch actually played. So you can immediately…

    The Guitar syllabus version 2 is now out including the following updates:
    - Complete intermediate course with levels 6-10 including new songs and new techniques (e.g. bends);
    - Improved Basics course (levels 0-5);
    - New game modes, e.g. chord trainers and lick trainers for all levels;
    - Around 80 new tutorial videos.

  19. Chord checker before song

    It would be extremely helpful if there was a way to play a single chord on the page where the chord diagram is before the song starts to see if you are playing it right and it is being recognized by yousician. So you would go to the diagram and click on the chord. Let's say Em. And just strum it once and yousician would either register it as a valid chord or somehow tell you what strings were off.

    Please check Cowboy Chords 1 mission for E, Em, Am (Level 1) and later Rhythm path missions for other chords.

  20. add the ability for yousicians to post their own songs for other yousicians to learn in a user created section in the application

    i would like to learn other songs that other people have posted along with the ones yousician has provided for us
