Musical notes and hearing
Musical notes lessons show different color notes as buttons. but adding the actual note in it would be helpful to improve musical hearing and remember notes with the actual sound.

Give partial credit on chords with some dead strings
I think that giving partial credit on chords with some dead strings - say, points for the strings/notes that were heard/picked up/played correctly - could go a long way toward maintaining positive reinforcement. Many new players really struggle with chords, and have the app continually cut them off mid-song because they had too many things not perfect may be too frustrating. They should get some credit for getting things mostly right. This would allow for more fun due to a higher chance of reaching a high score each play through.

Direct scrolling
Hello,
I find it quite frustrating that in the ios user interface you can’t scroll directly from the score and have to use the bottom control. It is not precise and if you want to just go back few beats without loosing tack it is not possible. It would be great to be able just to scroll back directly from the score.

Articulation on the Notation
Yousician could be a great way to practice reading notation. However, none of the articulation is indicated on the notation.
Bad enough when there is no indication for hammer-ons or pull-offs, but bends just show as the parent note, so there's no way to read them at all in notation.
Even when reading in the STD+TAB setting this can mess you up, if you're trying to get the rhythm from the notation, and articulations are only notated in the tablature.
For that matter, it would be a great help if the rhythms were shown in TABLATURE mode.
Be a pro…

5 String Bass
Could you add an option in the settings to always display 5 string bass? I'm using a 5 string bass and, especially now that I reached level 5, I get confused a lot when moving between strings. Having the 5th string displayed would really help, even if it is not used, and it seems to be something that would be simple to do, as the app already supports 5 string on certain songs.
It would also be great to later enable playing of alternate tuning songs on 5 string without retuning, but really - just displaying the extra string would…32 votes -

Ear Training "repeat after me" With The instrument rather than clicking
Ear Training exercise "repeat after me"
I hear a short phrase within a scale then I repeat what I hear on my instrument on tempo if I get it right I will get similar phrase but a bit longer or more complex
the tempo should be continuous never stop until exit but the tempo can be set (feel like Duolingo that keep you repeat what you know but add bit new thing in the mix from time to time)

Ability to choose to remove the name of the cords when practicing to memorize the notes of each cord better
Memorizing the cords position on the scale is hard because it's name is always witen above the scale so I'm used to see the name not the notes that represent the cord on the scale. I ask you to add a feature that allow me to remove the name of the cord above the scale so every user can memorize the notes instead of the name because in usal we don't find the name of a cord upper the scale in music books and scales

Discipline Icons for Guitar/Piano/Ukelele/Bass/Singing
Make icons next to the song titles in the song lists, that represent if a guitar/piano/ukulele/bass/singing version also exists for that song. So if you cross train piano and vocals or ukulele and vocals
etc., youu know which songs have a counterpart in the other discipline.9 votes -
Actual Hand Positions (Piano)
While it is really good to see where your hand needs to be, I cannot ever get used to the colour scheme. I will always be looking to see what finger is meant to be on which key.
So is it possible to show an actual hand and where it is meant to be on piano. It would show where to position them actually on the keys as well. This means I can see how to stretch the hand when you are reaching keys much further over.

Whistling module
My brother suggested that there be a whistling module (I'm thinking in Singing would be perfect), to help learn how to whistle in tune and I think that would be awesome! I've always been confused about what octave to whistle in, and it'd be great to learn to how follow music whistling, and I'd love to learn!

Synthesizer sounds for Piano path
The MIDI piano sound is currently set to a default 'piano' sound only, it would be great if users could select their own sounds from a palette of presets, or the sound would be switched according to the song style you play (e.g. when you're playing accompaniment, it changes to a string ensemble, for example)
It's always possible to connect an external synth, in which case Yousician can send the appropriate MIDI Program Change messages to select the proper sound which is bundled with the song.

Rhythm Guitar 6 Song: Summer of Love
Level: Rhythm Guitar 6
Lesson: Fancy Chords
Task: the last one (Summer of Love)I’d recommend a reconsideration of this last song in the level. It’s impossible to play when you’re level 6. Some of the chords had no earlier training (none at all). And the 3-string strumming of some chords is really confusing. I had felt good about my improvement until I tried to practise this song, gave up on it, and moved on to the next lesson. I revisit it from time to time, only to get frustrated and demotivated all over again. I feel like I’ve been…

Loog - 3 String Guitar
Please support the loog guitar (3 strings) i. Your app. I recently purchased a loog for my 6 year old because he wanted to learn to play the guitar and play it for his kindergarten class. It's a cool guitar although their app stinks. I tried many other apps but really liked yours. Some songs work but most don't, since he is using a different instrument not supported by your app.
You have a great app, cheers!8 votes -

Show names of scales used in songs
When playing songs, we need to have an idea of what scales are used there, so we can get used to how scales sounds in real music, and understanding what are the common or most used patterns in each scale
Thank you
