  2. Play parts of choice

Ys’ parts, f.ex. guitar part, that the player plays are almost always mashups if other parts. It’d be cool to be able to play f.ex. real guitar parts that reflect real instrumentation of a song instead of one constructed from f.ex. 2 different guitar parts and lead parts. That would help to understand voicing of a band and how to play together with people.

  3. Backing tracks - free practice scale mode

I would love if you guys would have backing tracks with different guitar tones. This would allow us to practice our scales more freely.

We could select a scale we would like to practice and we could have the option for different backing tracks that could fit the said scale.

  4. Uber Premium

I assume the reason why many of the most requested songs aren’t on the app is because of the cost of obtaining the rights. A way to fix this for both the app and its users is to implement an “Uber Premium” where users pay extra to play the most popular (and well as more current) music. I would be willing to pay up to an extra $100 for this feature.

  5. Practice Techniques Related To Specific Songs

Considering that premium members are able to practice songs that are available on Yousician, I think an awesome addition would be to add an option to have something like the guided lesson, only you would choose a song(s) that you want to learn specifically and the "guided lesson" will choose lessons that are related to those songs. An example would be: "American Pie". That song required three cowboy chords and strumming, so the "Guided Lesson" will have you practice those before having you play that song slowly.

  6. Guitar: add drills for hand positions higher up the fretboard.

Currently you only offer under “learn standard notation” drills in the first position. It would be great to have drills that go higher up the fretboard into the other positions, i.e. to learn the positioning of notes closer to the neck...

  7. Actual Hand Positions (Piano)

While it is really good to see where your hand needs to be, I cannot ever get used to the colour scheme. I will always be looking to see what finger is meant to be on which key.

So is it possible to show an actual hand and where it is meant to be on piano. It would show where to position them actually on the keys as well. This means I can see how to stretch the hand when you are reaching keys much further over.

  8. Video Tutorial for Songs

There should be a video tutorial for the songs, for each stage. This would help to see how it is supposed to be played.

  9. A special list where users can add song fragments / licks to learn

I'm currently learning Level 9 Lead "Building speed". In a song there are always a few small parts / licks that are extra difficult, so I put these licks in a loop and repeat these until I can play them with 100% speed. Then search the next difficult lick of the song. Place the loop markers again. And so on.

If you change between songs, these loop markers dissapear and you must search the lick again, place the loop markers again, reduce the speed again.

It would be nice to have a special user list "licks to learn". You can…

  10. Teach how to pick and strum

For every kind of picking or strumming it would be nice to learn from an expirienced player how to do it in a good way. Currently I can learn to place the left hand fingers on the fretboard correctly, but nobody teaches best practices how to act with the right hand. A few more videos showing this would be great.

  11. Guitartuna: Modes & Scales Library

I can't tell if this has already been requested or not, due to mixing of feature requests for different apps on one site.

I'm a new GuitarTuna user, and my request is for that app only (I'm not a Yousician user). I recently purchased all the unlocks and am loving the app. The chord library is super useful.

I would just like for there to be a modes & scales library as well.

  15. Improved stats

I'd like to see more improved stats i.e.:

    *Score per section
    *Replay of notes you missed
*Stats on whether you tend to play notes early or late etc (timing accuracy).

    *Missed strings when playing chords
*How many total notes you played at the end of it instead of just stars

Adding a per minute stat in the weekly email update and the stats page

  16. Rhythm Guitar 6 Song: Summer of Love

    Level: Rhythm Guitar 6
    Lesson: Fancy Chords
Task: the last one (Summer of Love)

I’d recommend a reconsideration of this last song in the level. It’s impossible to play when you’re level 6. Some of the chords had no earlier training (none at all). And the 3-string strumming of some chords is really confusing. I had felt good about my improvement until I tried to practise this song, gave up on it, and moved on to the next lesson. I revisit it from time to time, only to get frustrated and demotivated all over again. I feel like I’ve been…

  17. Teaching hand stretches at the beginning (guitar)

I wish you would have teached about hand stretching firts, because I felt like my hands weren’t flexible enough for the chords. After I found video about hand stretching, my hands are very flexible.

  18. Discipline Icons for Guitar/Piano/Ukelele/Bass/Singing

Make icons next to the song titles in the song lists, that represent if a guitar/piano/ukulele/bass/singing version also exists for that song. So if you cross train piano and vocals or ukulele and vocals
etc., youu know which songs have a counterpart in the other discipline.

  20. Recorded attempts/Detailed view

The idea would be having the app memorize the last and/or best attempt for each song. This would allow the user to compare the current run with either their best and/or their last attempt and see at which points they failed and what needs improvement. Two points come to mind on how to use this feature:
    1. The recorded attempt could show as kind of a "Ghost" attempt while you play alongside your current attempt, giving you real time feedback on where you're improving or what needs more practice.
    2. At the end of each attempt, allow a detailed review…
