More Bass Content!
I have completed Level 6 which covers basic bass techniques. Please continue the second part. I would like to see more about creating basslines as well as a jam section where if you create lines but if you play inappropriate notes they get flagged.
88 votesHi awesome Yousicians,
We are happy to announce the release of more Bass levels (the syllabus now goes up to level 8). We have also released the brand new Bass Knowledge Path just a few weeks ago.
We hope you like the new levels.

New songs page
It would be really nice to have a page where you can see all the new songs that have been added through updates and such. I find myself having to look around for a long time until I find something I haven't already played.

Add Android support for Real Tone guitar cable
Using an OTG Micro USB adapter, I'm able to connect my Real Tone cable to my Android phone. It's detected by the kernel and Linux subsystem, but it appears the Unity Android app only supports the "Device microphone"

Add Option to Disable Note Colors FOR EVERY INSTRUMENT
Here - https://yousician.uservoice.com/forums/296820-welcome-to-yousician-feedback-forum/suggestions/11028657-add-option-to-disable-note-colors-add-this-as-a-c many people voted, and nowhere in the ask it has been specified that it's for Piano only. However Yousician rolled this out only for Piano and marked as completed.
Let's be fair and make the same option available for other instruments. Thank you!
29 votesHi and thanks for voting.
Stringed instruments include standard notation, standard and fret and standard and tab.

Add Option to Disable Note Colors. Add this as a Challenge and Final Goal.
At the end people must be able to read a score without color coding. Therefore you should add an option to disable the note color coding. This should be an option you can always enable, and it should be a challenge which is part of the learning process.
At some point you should just enable the color coding in the training mode, but only show black notes in the perform mode.
146 votesHi everyone! We have now added a third view for Piano that allows you to turn off the note colors. You can now read black and white notes. We hope this helps!
This is now available on the desktop (PC/Mac) version of the app and will be released on mobile devices soon!

Reset button for instruments
It would be nice if Yousician had a reset button for an instrument. For example message says: "Are you sure you want to reset missions? You will lose all progress for this mission." If yes, Yousician deletes all progress for that instrument.
If no, Yousician returns to either instrument drop down menu or the current missions. An undo and/or redo button may avoid accidental deleting of one's progress.
43 votesHi Yousicians,
Thank you for voting.
Yousician now includes an option to reset your mission progress. You can learn more about this feature by following the link below:

Sheet music workout playlist
Until we get sheet mode option for all instruments can we get standard notation workout playlist in songs section? Yousician could create a few songs for each level that give opportunity to play both tabs and sheet music. If properly done, this could teach a player to decipher notes on staff and find them on tabs with minimum effort. This maybe done as a sheet mode option or by adding scrolling staff above tabs. Any modifications of this idea are welcome as long as staff and tabs are available for the song. Thanks a lot.

Personal training plan with warm-ups and specific excercises
As the title suggest, I'd like to be able to put together a personal training plan with, for example,
- 10 Minute warm-ups
- 10 minutes scales
- 10 minutes chords
- 10 minutes song practice
So first there would have to be warm-up routines implemented, of course. Please?
I guess that would really help us establish an effective practising routine.
174 votesHi,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. Yousician now includes a guided lesson feature that will help you create a practice plan by showing you songs and guiding you through the learning process. Just choose the lesson duration (10, 20 or 30 minutes and get started).

Use the Precision and Reliability of MIDI if Available/Plugged-in.
I own a Yamaha Calvinova piano, which feels like a real piano but it an electronic piano. Now I use the MIDI out and connect it to the iPad with the Yousician app. This works good, but not perfect.
It seems you don't use the MIDI data for your analysis, instead you convert the MIDI data into audio and use this audio to detect the notes. Please use the MIDI data directly, because they are much more precise and you will always detect the notes correctly (and it uses less CPU).
The current problems are:

Yousician now evaluates MIDI directly from MIDI signals on all platforms except Android. This should be also available on Android soon.

Set practice time for Mac/PC/Linux etc.
It would be nice if you could set the time you want to practice, so you stay consistent.
You could set a time for 7:00 A.M. and then set it to 7:00 P.M. or whenever, that way, you get twice as much practice in one day.
Also, maybe allow the time of the lessons to be flexible whenever is convenient for us.
For example: lessons are 30 mins, but maybe you don't have that much time that day, so you could change it to 5 min, 15, etc.

ability to lower volume or mute "coaching voice"
the "Well done, you can continue to the next exercise' ... or "almost perfect, next time you'll nail it" ... or whatever is said at the end of the song.. becomes repetitive and annoying pretty quick.. it is also often louder than the music we're practicing.. please give us options to turn it off.. or at least down....

The voice-over can now be muted by sliding down the “Sound Effects” volume slider available in the app’s settings.

Option for Colorblind people please!
I have Deuteronomy and have trouble seeing the difference between notes that are hit and missed (red/green). I also have trouble identifying when the colors suggest a change in left hand positioning (blue/purple).
Please implement a way to customize colors, or a preset colorblind mode!
18 votesHi awesome musicians!
We are happy to announce the addition of new color schemes for Yousician. To change the scheme you wish to use, go to Settings > Game and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can choose between Protanopia, Deuteranopia and Tritanopia.

Premium songs
I guess it is time to upgrade yousician and add premium licensed famous songs. I would definitely pay extra for professionally done tabs (with all the right chords and color coding) and the original song as background music, preferably with the option to mute the original guitar.
You could charge less for members and once bought we would own the song forever.
Another really fun and motivating option is to show after each level, which famous songs we should be able to play.
(For custom songs it is often frustrating that the color coding or chord names are not correct…50 votesWe are happy to announce the inclusion of famous songs in Yousician. These songs can be accessed by users with a Premium+ subscription, which includes unlimited lesson time for all instruments and access to famous songs.
Note: Famous songs are being gradually rolled out and are not yet available for all users worldwide.
